Capital City Productions is proud to present CABARET. The story centers around Cliff Bradshaw, an American author working on a novel in Berlin, and Sally Bowles, a singer at the seedy Kit Kat Klubs. When she is fired by the club’s owner, also her jealous boyfriend, she moves in with Cliff and the two fall in love. As the Nazis begin taking control of the German government, the atmosphere of the Kit Kat Klub and the lives of Cliff and Sally begin to change dramatically.

Winner of 12 Tony Awards during its Broadway premiere in 1967 and revival in 1998. The film version earned Oscars 8 Oscars including Best Actress (Liza Minelli), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Joel Grey) and Best Director (Bob Fosse).
